Champion Kennel Owners

Marianne has been a part of the Champion team for over 14 years as the manager and bather.  She has worked with animals for over 36 years.  She loves working with her amazing team as she has stated:  "Everyone truly loves all of the dogs and cats that come to Champion."  In her free time she spends time with her family (her daughter is going to BU to earn her master's degree) goes to concerts and casinos.  She loves hanging out with her dog "Gigolo!"  Her hobbies include baking, watching wildlife in her yard!

Emma just loves animals! She has 2 dogs and 5 guinea pigs.  She has been part of the  team for 3 years as a kennel tech.  She recently graduated  with a BS in Criminal Justice.  Her favorite part of the job is getting to know all of animals.  Playtimes are the best!  Just sitting with the animals to hang out with them is so rewarding.  Quality time with each pet makes her job worthwhile.  That one on one time gives her time to know all of their personalities!  Emma loves to draw, read and watch movies and relax with her family.

Bailey joined Champion 3 years ago as a kennel tech/bather/office worker,  She has worked with animals for 5 years  Bailey enjoys working with dogs and gets to know them on a personal level  In her spare time she enjoys camping watching movies and hanging with friends!  She loves to listen to music as it "feeds her soul!"  .  Bailey loves working at Champion Kennels with both the animals and staff.  

Sherry  has worked at Champion for 4 years as a groomer with 13 years of experience working with animals.  Sherry loves grooming and gets tons of kisses and snuggles! She loves to give all pets their spa treatment!   Sherry loves hanging with her two girls and taking them on adventures.  In her free time she cares for her house plants, gardens and loves to cook and bake!

Deb has 20 years working with animals and 9 months at Champion as a   kennel tech     She loves making new dog and cat friends at Champion!  She has 2 dogs, a cat and 2 grand pups she enjoys.  Deb enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking camping, kayaking and any outdoor activity.  In her free time she is a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

Trainer

Anya is a kennel tech and has worked at Champion for 1 year.   She has 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 2 parakeets and 1 rabbit!  Anya loves working "hands on" with all of the dogs/cats and loves getting to learn their personalities!  She loves to draw, desgin clothes and sew in her free time.  She also enjoys nature walks and media analysis! 

Stephanie joined the Champion Team a year ago and enjoys working with all of the fabulous dogs, cats and staff!  She currently attends Simmons College to major in social work.  She enjoys gardening and crafting! She just loves trying to catch fun photos of all of the animals that board at Champion!

Shannon has been working at Champion for the past 6 months.  She loves working with animals.  Spending time to get to know them is the best part!  She has 1 dog Sadie and 2 birds.  She loves hanging out with them.  In her free time Shannon enjoys listening to music, watching movies and working on diamond dots!

Janet has been a professional dog trainer since 1997 in obedience, rally and agility.   She was among the elite group to take the first ever APDT Certifiation Exam for dog trainers thus earning her the CPDT (Certified Pet Dog Trainer) title.

 Kelly has enjoyed working with animals for over 7 years and has been with Champion for the past 3 months.    Kelly loves working with the Champion team forming relationships with the pets and loves getting "happy greetings" from all of the pets!  Kelly loves going to the gym, hiking with her dog and baking.  Kelly had a great past experience volunteering at an animal hospital when she was in high school!

Caitlyn loves working with animals and has 1 dog and 4 sugar gliders.  She loves bonding with each dog that comes in and gives them special attention!   She has been part of the team for 3 months.  In her free time she enjoys training her dog and teaching her tricks!.  Caitlyn loves to watch dogs come out of their "shells" and just be dogs.  She loves watching dogs all getting along!

Kathy  joined Champion  4 months ago. She has worked with animals for 7 years  Kathy enjoys working with dogs and gets to know each and every one of them on a personal level.   In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her 2 dogs Kaia & Jed! She loves going to the gym, gardening, riding motorcycles and playing cards. ,When she worked in rescue she loved taking dogs out on day trips! Kathy loves working at Champion Kennels with the fabulous Champion team!  

Kathleen has enjoyed working with animals and has been with Champion for the past year.   She loves talking to and giving each dog love & attention!  She enjoys getting to know their personalities and likes them to feel happy and safe while they are at Champion!  In her free time Kathleen spends time with her friends & family, She enjoys playing with her dog and caring for her houseplants.  Kathleen is currently at the University of Vermont studying food sciences.  When not at Champion she enjoys reading, tennis, swimming and cooking.

Diane King  

has been actively involved in dog training for over 20 years.  She is a longtime member of the APDT and has earned her CPDT-KA rating. She believes in working with each dog and owner as individuals. Diane is well versed in clicker training and positive training for pet dogs as well as training for owners and dogs interested in preparing for competition in obedience, rally and dog agility.  She also specialies in new puppy training, working with owners who have newly adoped dogs and owners and dogs with special needs such as aggression, resource guarding and reactivity.  She has also worked as a vet assistant at a holistic animal clinic.
